PowerBoost™ Mulch is a specialized blend of high-quality compost and shredded wood fiber designed for erosion control, stormwater management, and environmental remediation. The organic matrix detains sediment while allowing water to pass through, helping reduce runoff and prevent soil erosion. Enriched with beneficial microorganisms, PowerBoost™ Mulch can help absorb odors and support the breakdown of contaminants such as petroleum products, wood preservatives, pesticides, and both chlorinated and non-chlorinated hydrocarbons found in stormwater runoff. It is commonly used to stabilize soil on embankments near creeks, lakes, and rivers, as well as on roadsides, hillsides, athletic fields, and golf courses, helping protect soil and water resources while improving soil health over time.
