FiberRoot Mulch™
FiberRoot™ Mulch at Groundscapes Express, Inc.
FiberRoot Mulch™ is a specially engineered organic mulch made from a blend of high-quality finished compost and partially decomposed chipped and shredded wood fibers. This material forms the foundation for several Groundscapes systems, including EarthBlanket™ applications and the compost substrate used in FilterMitts™ and FilterMitt Berms™. The blended compost and wood fibers create a stable matrix that helps stabilize exposed soils, reduce erosion, and slow stormwater runoff while allowing water to infiltrate naturally. FiberRoot Mulch™ also supports beneficial microbial activity, helping to retain soil moisture, improve soil structure, and promote healthy vegetation growth. Because it is made entirely from organic, biodegradable materials, the mulch gradually decomposes over time, enriching the soil and leaving no synthetic waste behind.
